Building the Smart, Connected Lab

Scientific, medical and research laboratories are characterized by complex, multi-step processes where precision measurement is essential and data is recorded at every stage-gate. In this session, we'll share a proof of concept of a smart, connected lab designed to improve lab efficiency and equipment utilization. We'll explain how we approached the proof of concept, and strategies used to connect various laboratory devices. We'll also showcase strategies for transforming this data into information and insight. Finally, we'll explore lessons learned from the project.
