Pioneer Improves Gas Lift Operations with IoT

Pioneer implemented an IIoT solution to improve gas lift operations in near real-time. Through integrating horizontal well data and compressor data within ThingWorx, Pioneer can now autonomously respond to compressor failures and minimize downtime. The logic implemented into ThingWorx alerts the remote operations SCADA team about disruption and reports how the system was stabilized. When producing from 1,000+ wells, it’s imperative to automate and streamline processes. ThingWorx has allowed Pioneer to achieve smoother operations and reduce the manpower required to react to field disruptions.
